What is a person? How does one characterize a person, or even how does a person characterize himself? Then there is a problem of how does one represent oneself to oneself? The questions of identity are paramount and yet they are easy to brush aside. We may presume ourselves to be one thing and yet we may be many other things and thus know thyself should take center stage in the discourse of life.
